Last year l was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and had my treatment of radio therapy which went well but unfortunately I ended up with nerve damage to my body. This made me completely immobile, l could hardly walk due to the stiffness and pain, l could not even hold a knife and fork properly to eat. Drugs from the doctors helped me sleep but the immobility carried on. I seeked help on line and out of the many l just seemed to be drawn to Ana, as if it was meant to be. Like others in these reviews as soon as l met her l knew l was in the right place to give me hope and mobility. Ana assessed my problems and proceeded with the most all l can say...magical treatment of acupuncture. I've had acupuncture many times in my life but her treatment is so high above the others. After my first session l came away like a different person able to move with ease. I booked my very reasonable 5 weeks course and have never looked back. With every session l became more and more mobile so now... l walk like a man. Friends and family can't believe the transformation from a broken man to how l look now. I feel so well l overdo things which cause me pain and stiffness in my hips and with one session l had yesterday l have movement and NO pain at all. Ana has created such a safe and tranquil atmosphere in her gorgeous space, both physically and psychologically. Ana is thorough and creates a holistic view of your health and wellbeing. My headaches have reduced drastically and I rarely take pain killers now. My overall joint pain is generally much better too in addition to cleared UTIs. I love visiting Ana for treatments - they are so relaxing. I always feel so much lighter after a session. Our experience was lovely and we came out feeling super refreshed and relaxed. Felt so warm and welcome on entrance and if I lived in York, I would definitely be a regular. The only negatives that I'd mention is that you are not necessarily in the same room for couples massage so it's not the full dual experience. Moreover, I would suggest some improvements on the massage chair as we both felt the round bit you put your head in, could have been more comfortable, pehaps with a thicker towel as cushioning. Sue Collins13 January 2026I’ve just had the most WONDERFUL Radiant Face Lift Ritual with Oiled Scalp Treatment with Ana Guerro. I feel uplifted and really warm & energised & my skin feels amazing! The treatment involves application of oils/ a face massage/ mask / hot ‘ stones’ and a fantastic head shoulder & neck massage. Jack Feasby28 June 2024My mother recommended Ana for pins and needles and lose of grip of my left hand that I have been experiencing for the last 9 years, after a surgery for fractured cervical spine at C6-C7. This surgery left me with a trapped nerve. After some tests, Ana concluded that the dysfunctional nerve was C8. I scored my discomfort at 8 out of 10 and only after the 1st session I saw an improvent of 6 out of 10 on the nerve sensation and got better grip too. I got no spasms for the whole week. I've just had my 4th session and for the last week, after the last treatment, I have had no spasms, hardly noticed the pins and needles in my fingers and my grip is normal. My score is 0 out of 10! We have a couple more sessions to go as I bought a pack of 6 after the positive results from my first treatment.
